Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a vital role in overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to develop project specifications and resolve any technical issues that may arise throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong background in civil engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of construction principles and processes. Additionally, you should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop project specifications and oversee the planning, design, and execution of construction projects Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify any technical issues, and provide solutions as needed Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to develop and implement project plans Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed within established parameters Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets high-quality standards Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and construction teams Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Civil Engineer in the construction industry In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction processes Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and standards Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Effective communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software applications
