Senior Civil Engineer

Our client is a multi-Disciplinary Engineering Consulting firm with over 40 years of history delivering engineering projects in Australia and across the South Pacific region. This firm offers services throughout the entire project life-cycle, from initial concept and design right through to construction and commission across a range of industries particularly hospitality, aviation, maritime, education, and health for both industry and governments.  Due to project demands, our client is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to Contribute to the ongoing development Framework and to deliver best practice solution. This role will suits someone who is a generalist and can do a bit of everything across the Civil Engineering discipline. Key Responsibilities: Manage projects across the full project timeline from Tendering/proposals to Practical Completion. Role is primarily a 2IC to the Civil and Transport Manager in Brisbane Be Client facing Manage project budgets, resources, deliverables, commercials Can price and prepare proposals Competent in 12d, and AutoCAD Drainage design is highly regarded Can work on multi-discipline projects Can work across multiple international jurisdictions and engineering codes Is willing and able to travel to Pacific island nations for short work trips   About you: You will have: Hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to meet project goals and operational targets Strong communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to prepare documentation, spreadsheets and presentations to a high level Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and state requirements   What’s on Offer: Our client aims to provide an unrivalled opportunity for their staff to thrive in a diverse and supportive work environment.
