Senior Civil Engineer   Company: Multidisciplined Engineering Consultancy   Location: Mancehster   Salary:  £40,00 - £52,000 – Depends On How Many Years Of Experience   About the Role Join an enthusiastic civils team within a well-established engineering consultancy in Manchester. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will contribute to significant warehouse logistics developments across the UK and several prestigious retirement village projects. Collaborate with industry experts and high-profile private and public-sector clients.   Team Size: - Chester Office: 30 people - Civils Team: 8 people   Key Responsibilities - Design and Drafting: Engineering design, drafts, and analysis of drainage and highways works for major projects. - R eporting: Contributing to high-quality written reports on various projects. - Technical Data and Drawings: Preparing, presenting, and self-checking technical data and drawings. - Meetings: Attending site and project team meetings under the direction of a Senior Engineer or Associate. - Bids and Proposals: Contributing to writing bids and fee proposals. - Professional Development: Actively working towards Incorporated or Chartered Status. -  CPD Participation: Participating in and presenting at Lunch and Learns and other CPD opportunities.   Benefits - Pension Scheme: 4% company contribution, 5% employee contribution. - Private Healthcare: Available after successful completion of probation. - Car Lease Scheme: Available after successful completion of probation. - Holiday: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.   Requirements - Education: A degree in Civil Engineering. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ relevant design office experience. - Skills: Proficient in using AutoCAD to produce drainage or highways designs/drafts.   Join a dynamic team where you can grow your career, work on impactful projects, and gain valuable industry experience.
