Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description

Brownlee Cale are working with a Civil Engineering firm who are hiring Senior Civil Engineers in Manchester.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.\n * Manage and oversee the development of detailed design solutions, calculations, and reports.\n * Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction plans.\n * Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.\n * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring the development of their skills and capabilities.\n * Attend project meetings, providing expert advice and recommendations to the project team and clients.\n * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural engineering designs into larger project frameworks.\n * Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects, providing technical expertise and input.\n * Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained throughout all stages of project delivery.\nSkills & Experience:\n * A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng, BEng, or equivalent).\n * Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it (e.g., through the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers).\n * A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and building projects.\n * CSCS Card\nIf you would like to discuss this role please contact Amy Dunn at Brownlee Cale
