Senior Civil Engineer\n\nLeeds\n\n£50k-£55k plus benefits\n\nOur client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Civil Engineer with strong commercial awareness. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about the technical aspects of infrastructure design and construction. As part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.\n\nYou will collaborate closely with the Project Engineer to ensure the successful delivery of projects in line with client expectations.
With your strong technical expertise, you will confidently navigate your role, working independently or as part of a team, depending on the project's size and complexity.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nDeveloping engineers' sketches and design output towards full technical approval and construction drawing packages\nUndertaking modelling of road alignments and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with relevant authority\nDeveloping construction details, sections, and liaising with the wider project team\nManaging multiple projects across various sectors simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are met\nProviding technical support to the team and clients, drawing on your excellent problem-solving and analytical skills \n\nRequired skills and experience:\n\n5+ years post-qualification experience in a similar role with at least 3 years UK experience\nHigh technical awareness\nStrong communication skills with the ability to foster good working relationships with clients and colleagues\nFamiliarity with software such as Civils 3D, Site 3D, and Microdrainage (desirable but not essential)\nEngTech with the ICE (or willingness to work towards with full support) \n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in civil engineering, particularly infrastructure projects, to contribute to a growing team and deliver exceptional results to clients.\n\nIf you have a positive, can-do attitude and are ready to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply by sending your CV to Graham Ventham at Conrad Consulting
