ATGI is looking to hire a talented Senior Cloud Engineer who will help design, deploy, operate, and provide operations and maintenance on the Google Cloud platform. Blending cloud engineering and operations expertise, the individual will help to ensure that our cloud environment is running efficiently and securely while also being responsible for the day-to-day operational management, support, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, operations best practices, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and design cloud solutions (within AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI) and Design/build solutions, and processes to deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure Cloud environments to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
• Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
• Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
• Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
• Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance.
• Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
• Optimize cloud performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a US with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelors and five years or more of related experience. Masters and three or more years of related experience.
• Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in 4 or more of the following areas:
  • Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
  • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
  • CSPs including Azure, AWS, or OCI
  • Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
  • Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
  • Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
  • Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
  • Disaster Recovery planning and implementation in cloud environments
  • Experience designing and implementing landing zone architectures in cloud environments, including multi-account strategies, network segmentation, and security controls

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional cloud certifications from multiple cloud service providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect)
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures
• Familiarity with federal government compliance standards and frameworks (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, Cloud Smart Strategy, etc.)
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture principles and implementation in cloud environments.
