Your responsibilities A Senior Commercial Manager Hydrogen with the capacity to structure and negotiate major commercial contracts for Uniper’s hydrogen projects in Germany. Lead the business case development towards Final Investment Decision (FID) to be taken by the Uniper Group Board of Management Understanding the German energy markets as well as the evolving hydrogen market, including German and EU market regulation (REDII/REDIII, certification, etc.) that supports the hydrogen market ramp-up Take the overall responsibility for the business modelling, commercial and contractual risk assessment Internal and external stakeholder management; including supporting the establishment and maintenance of project partnerships, as well as Uniper representation in associations and at conferences Active contribution to the implementation of the Uniper hydrogen strategy in order to help shape the climate-friendly future of the company Your profile Passion for the Energy Transition as well as energy, flexibility, and self-starter mentality Excellent interpersonal & stakeholder management skills Strong track record in delivering commercial opportunities University degree, e.g. (industrial) engineering, natural sciences, management, economics, MBA or a comparable qualification At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in the development and management of complex, interdisciplinary (large-scale) asset projects in the energy industry or comparable (functional) management responsibility Track record in closing asset project related transactions, including contract structuring, negotiating, and seeking board approvals Ideally, technical or commercial expertise in an adjacent subject area, e.g. hydrogen, methanol, gas infrastructure, plant construction, major asset investment projects, etc. Analytic thinking person that understands economic behavior, energy policy and market regulation entrepreneurial way of thinking as well as working with a high level of quality awareness, even under high pressure Experience in the identification, selection, and management of contractors as well as in the management of heterogeneous teams (engineers, lawyers, economists, technicians, etc.) Personality: high level of integrity; open to new ideas; keeping calm in all situations; always solution-oriented; always a team player Fluent in German and English language If you do not have all the experience outlined above, but bring something extra to the role, we encourage you to apply Your benefits At Uniper, we not only reward our employees with attractive salaries, an excellent company pension and health related benefits for their hard work and dedication to shaping the future energy transition.
