Location: Guildford, Surrey

Salary: £90,000 to £100,000 + car/travel, pension, healthcare, 25 days leave + bank holidays



Our client, a leading cost and project management consultancy is delivering a landmark project in Guildford and they are looking for a Senior Construction Manager to join their site based team. This is a unique opportunity to take the lead role on an exciting refurbishment of a listed building where you'll be tasked with taking a hands-on approach to the delivery of the project.



As the Senior Construction Manager, you will be based on site in Guildford and overseeing the entire refurbishment process. You'll be responsible for:



Managing and coordinating trade contractors, ensuring quality and programme compliance

Leading site operations and ensuring work is delivered safely and to the highest standards

Collaborating with the client and specialist consultants to navigate heritage constraints

Driving progress while maintaining strict cost and programme control

About You



Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on high-profile heritage, conservation, or refurbishment projects

Strong knowledge of listed building regulations, conservation techniques, and traditional construction methods

Hands-on Construction Management experience gained from either a PQS or main contracting role

Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing skills
