The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer with over five years of experience with industrial Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The ideal candidate for this opportunity has solid communication skills, can work independently with minimum supervision, is team oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual with extensive experience in SCADA and DCS control systems engineering, programming and integration specific to the Water and Wastewater industries.
Responsibilities:
- Design of industrial control systems hardware integration
- Writing and testing logic for Programable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Developing and testing user interface graphics for Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and Operator Interface Terminals (OIT)
- Start-up and Commissioning
- Troubleshooting industrial control systems
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science
- Over five years of practical work experience
- Experience with control systems engineering and an understanding of ISA standards
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, and GE Fanuc PLCs
- Experience with Wonderware, RSView, and PanelView HMI/OITs
- Experience with Emerson Ovation DCS
- Excellent programming experience in Ladder Logic, STL, FB, SFC and SAMA
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients
- Solid experience with the MS Office Suite
We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
