Senior Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider systems, experienced with SCADA, and comfortable with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar design tools. This role requires travel to different sites, customer interaction, and a proactive approach to installations and project management. A valid UK driving license is essential. Key Responsibilities: Control Systems Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement control systems using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider platforms. Develop and configure SCADA systems to monitor and control engineering processes. Project Management: Handle project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. Evaluate project requirements and provide technical solutions that meet customer specifications. Installations and Site Work: Conduct on-site installations of control systems, ensuring successful deployment and integration. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on-site, providing effective resolutions. Travel to various locations across the UK as required. Customer Interaction: Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering suitable solutions. Provide customer training and support as necessary. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team. Share knowledge and best practices, contributing to team success and continuous improvement. Qualifications and Skills: Apprenticeship in engineering or equivalent  Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider control systems. Strong knowledge of SCADA systems. Proficiency in using AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar design tools. Professional Skills: Excellent project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Good communication and customer-facing skills. Valid UK driving license.
