A Senior Controls Engineer is immediately sought to join an independently owned business within process automation as they continue to go from strength to strength, with a pipeline of complex and diverse projects across the UK.\n\nSenior Controls Engineer\n\n£50,000 – £65,000 + Pension + Healthcare Scheme + Life Assurance\n\nNewcastle\n\nRef: 23822\n\nSenior Controls Engineer - The Role:\n\nConfigure and develop PLC & SCADA software for a wide variety of applications\nProduce specifications and design documentation\nTest and commission systems across the North East\nWork on projects through their complete lifecycle from concept to completion\nAct as a point of contact for the customer, including managing sub-contractors and controlling the procurement\nSenior Controls Engineer - The Person:\n\nPrevious experience as a Control Systems Engineer\nMust have solid ability with PLC software design - Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider\nFlexible for c20% travel across the North East for site visits and commissioning\nHave previously worked as a Control Systems Engineer within a systems integration environment\nSolid networking skills\nAbility to complete all documentation including FDS & FAT/SAT\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a business who can offer you a clear career path, on-going professional training, a collaborative working environment and the chance to improve your technical skills.
