Oar Staffing is conducting a search for a SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER for a client in Southern Indiana.

MUST HAVE PROGRAMMING, DOCUMENTATION AND MAINTENANCE OF PLC CONTROLLERS AND FANUC ROBOTS IN AN AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIER MANAUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE -- IN OFFICE WORK

The client is located 10 minutes from downtown Louisville.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for programming, documentation, maintenance of PLC controllers (Siemens & Allen Bradley)
• Responsible for programming, documentation, maintenance of Fanuc robots.
• Responsible for plant electrical systems.
• Support the process engineers to keep in control the process and machinery production settings (speeds, temperature, tonnage of press, steam, components mix, etc.) to produce parts that meet customer specifications.
• Analyze process capability and production processes to identify Continuous Improvement opportunities.
• Inspect equipment to maintain specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
• Assist in establishing equipment PM standards.

Education / Experience

• 4-year technical degree, preferably in electrical engineering
• 2-5 years plant electrical and controls engineering background in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with robotics troubleshooting and programming (Fanuc)
• Minimum 2 years CAD experience
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC control equipment. Programming new parts and calibration of existing parts.
• Comprehension of statistical methods used to perform data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability in technical problem solving related to manufacturing processes.
