Senior Cost Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Cost Engineer to work within automotive industry.

Location: Hybrid working - Crewe

About the role: You will be responsible for providing, reviewing and presenting technical and financial data analysis to senior management, including risks and opportunities to maximise business performance.

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will have an extensive Senior Cost Engineering background, with the following skills/experience:

• Experience of working within a cost engineering environment, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of financial accounting processes and principles, ability to analyse and interpret financial accounts.
• Product Cost Management, estimating and process planning experience within a Production and engineering environment.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, practical negotiation skills, cost estimating and engineering practices.
