Senior Design Engineer

Job Description

MK Recruit is delighted to be partnering with Flintstone Technology Ltd in Dundee to recruit an exceptional Senior Design Engineer who can play a key role in Flintstone’s engineering team.

The selected candidate will have responsibility for creating innovate and commercially smart solutions to design challenges in a fast-moving environment.

As part of a team that is a leading global supplier of mooring systems to both traditional and renewable industries, the senior mechanical engineer will have a high level of responsibility for creating and checking colleagues work, conducting analysis (including FEA), and managing projects from concept to production and delivery.

We are keen to see candidates with the following experience.

• A solid background in mechanical engineering with experience of design of components in high fatigue loaded conditions.
• Finite Element Analysis would be highly advantageous.
• Ideally you will hold a degree in engineering (BSc or equivalent) and be working towards or have achieved Chartered Engineer status.
