Senior Design Engineer (Closures Doors Structures)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to contribute to the design, 





development, and validation of innovative closure systems for our luxury electric vehicle 





platform. This role requires a deep understanding of vehicle structures, mechanisms, and 





materials, coupled with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.





Responsibilities:


• Lead the design and development of door and closure systems, including hinges, latches, seals, and other components.





• Conduct feasibility studies, concept , and detailed design activities.





• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering,





manufacturing, and quality assurance.





• Perform structural analysis and testing to ensure product durability, safety, and





performance.





• Optimize closure systems for weight, cost, and manufacturability while maintaining high quality standards.





• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.





• Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional development.





Qualifications:





• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline





• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on closures and door systems.





• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD skills, with CATIA V5/V6 or similar software (desired to do it) .





• In-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.





• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.





• Strong project management and organizational abilities.





• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.





• Experience with CAE tools.
