Senior Desgin Manager\nRemuneration: £72,000 - £80,000 ( this will be based on experience) per annum plus package,car allownce private healtcare\nType: Permanent\nLocation: Northampton\nStart Date: ASAP\nA Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an onsite Design Manager with a high rise residential experience /student accommodation to oversee and control the design process, ensuring that design and procurement meet Client/Employers requirements and align with budget parameters.\nResponsibilities:\n• Manage relationships across the project team including client, consultants, and subcontractors and have a thorough understanding of the process and risks/opportunities related to managing the design regarding Employer’s Requirements, Contractors’ Proposals.\n• Ongoing review of design, subcontractor enquiries & documentation to ensure compliance and identify potential interface issues.\n• Be influential in supporting the business achieve their Net Zero & sustainability commitments.\n• Manage CDM Regulations, Regulatory Approvals and Planning Conditions.\n\nWhat we require from you?\n• Degree qualified or relevant qualification in Construction\n• Relevant professional membership (RIBA, BIBSE, IET)\n• Valid CSCS card.\n• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability and willingness to face challenges and solve problems independently and as part of a team.\n\nAbout the company\n\nTier 1 Main Contractor is a hugely successful privately owned construction and development group based in the UK
