Our client, a leading company specializing in AI and next- computing solutions, is seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Engineering to lead a team of senior Customer Solutions Architects and Engineers. This role involves working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to support cutting-edge applications and platforms, integrating advanced technology into various industry segments.
This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, Canada (option for Austin, TX and Santa Clara, CA) offering a unique opportunity for a technical leader with deep experience in high-performance computing (HPC) and AI systems design. You will play a critical role in shaping the development and deployment of enterprise solutions, leading a team of technical experts to deliver innovative solutions that meet complex customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with industry and account teams to understand customer goals, strategies, and technical requirements, delivering high-value solutions tailored to these needs.
- Mentor and guide the Solutions Architecture team, ensuring they develop the technical skills to work with OEMs, ODMs, CSPs, and Data Center personnel.
- Document technical knowledge by developing resources such as targeted samples, whitepapers, blogs, and articles, while also working hands-on with customers to solve complex problems.
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent to build a world-class team of experts.
- Act as an industry leader, driving the integration of AI, HPC, and enterprise systems technologies into complex networking architectures for datacenter and edge computing.
- Collaborate across the product development lifecycle on projects that involve compute modules, baseboards, and thermal-mechanical design elements for AI/ML servers and data center clusters.
Experience & Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in compute-intensive development programs, with knowledge of CPU/GPU architecture and functionality.
- 5+ years of experience in management and leadership roles.
- Experience with HPC/AI system design and development, ideally working with OEMs/ODMs and Data Center end users.
- Proven track record in delivering complex computing and networking solutions for the HPC/AI market.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both management and technical teams.
- Experience in customer support and managing technical teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and initiatives across complex projects.
