Senior EC&I Engineer

Senior EC&I Engineer (12-Month Contract, Outside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Senior EC&I Engineer for a 12-month contract, offering £45-£50 per hour working with one of our key client in the Nuclear sector. This role requires on-site presence just one day per week.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead EC&I engineering tasks within a specific project.

Assign tasks and provide technical oversight to Graduate Engineers and EC&I Designers.

Develop control system designs and oversee design progress through procurement and fabrication stages.

Ensure all designs meet British and European standards, client requirements, and project deadlines.

Produce and review CE&I design concepts, technical specifications, and commissioning documentation.

Manage subcontractors and support commissioning activities.

Experience in AutoCAD, safety interlock design, and HVAC control systems is highly desirable.

Qualifications:



Extensive EC&I design experience.

Knowledge of control system hardware, software, and functional safety (BSEN 61508 & 61511)
