Senior Electrical Engineer

Job description About the Role: Join our clients dynamic team, in Perth CBD, driving sustainable development and innovation in the mining industry. Our client is embarking on a billion-dollar project, promising longevity, and stability for the next 2-3 years. With a focus on process plant modifications, non-process infrastructure, and power distribution, this role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and impact. Responsibilities: Contribute to detailed engineering design for mining process plants, focusing on HV Distribution, MCCs, HV VSDs, HV Switchboards, Switchrooms, Motors, and Cables. Collaborate with a team of Electrical Engineers to deliver high-quality design solutions. Utilize Power Factory modelling to optimise system performance. Actively engage in the transition from DES / DFS to detailed design in the coming months. About You: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7 years experience within EPCMs or ESPs Proven experience in engineering design, preferably in mining process plants. Demonstrated expertise in HV Distribution systems and related components. Experience with Power Factory would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Have ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders. What's on Offer: Initial 12-month contract with an anticipated project span of 2-3 years.
