Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £55,000 with flexibility

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design solutions, ensuring compliance with technical and legislative requirements. You'll be responsible for de-risking, design validation, and delivering manufacturing-ready designs and working in a growing multi-disciplinary team of Mechanical Design Engineers.

You will be working on the latest technologies with applications in safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Create detailed electrical schematics and Bills of Materials using SolidWorks or E-Plan.
- Ensure designs meet safety, technical, and legislative standards.
- Produce technical documentation

\n
Skills & Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Experience in MOD, Aerospace, Defence, or Marine sectors.
- Expertise in Power & Electrical System design, Control & Instrumentation.
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Motor Starters, Distribution Systems, PLC & Control Systems.
- FMEA, Safety Assessments, and Testing (NI Hardware & Labview).
- E-Plan or Solidworks.
