About the Role: Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to make a meaningful impact across a dynamic energy portfolio? AGL is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Asset Integrity team, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical integrity and reliability of electrical engineering standards across AGL’s fleet, including Integrated Energy, Customer Markets, Energy Hubs, New Projects, and Cyber Security. Key Responsibilities: Support the Lead Principal Engineer in overseeing all areas of Electrical Engineering within AGL. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Business Unit Engineering Teams, providing expert technical guidance and support. Assist in the review, development, and implementation of internal technical standards to ensure compliance with regulations and industry guidelines. Conduct internal audits and support risk assessment activities by identifying, rating, and initiating effective controls. Facilitate internal knowledge transfer sessions and engage with external organisations to ensure best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant HSE legislation, Australian and International standards, while adhering to AGL’s HSE management policies. Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Electrical Engineering (required). Chartered Engineer or eligibility to become chartered (preferred). Broad experience across multiple electrical engineering disciplines, ideally with experience in all aspects of the asset lifecycle (specification, design, construction, commissioning, and operations). A technical background in power generation experience is a plus. Proactive, self-initiated approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Why AGL?
