Senior Electronic Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electronic Engineer for the development, manufacturing, test, and delivery of hardware and components for the Ballantine Labs product line. You will be responsible for all aspects including the digital, analog, power circuits, test measurements, mechanical design and assembly, manufacturing, testing, sustaining engineering, and more. Your work will require collaboration across our team (including contractors) – being involved with all aspects of taking proven products from start to finish.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review designs, assist and manage assembly, and test for all products
• Analyze and understand full system requirements.
• Specify and select components, enclosures, cables, and other hardware in coordination with other team members and vendors.
• Create and maintain system documentation.

MUST HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS

• BS degree in EE or higher.
• Experience with collecting and storing data and documentation.
• Competent in use and operation of Windows PC OS, Linux, Microsoft Office, Google docs, etc.
• Electronics experience – troubleshooting, debugging, repairing (down to the component level) as a professional. Fluency in English (written and spoken).

SHOULD HAVE ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS

• Soldering and board rework skills.
• Other CAD tool exposure – AutoDesk, Cadence, SolidWorks, Allegro, KiCAD, etc.

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. or Permanent Card Holder.
