Job Duties

  • Design and develop state-of-the-art camera and video systems, including image sensors, processing units, and storage technologies.
  • Create circuit designs, schematic layouts, and PCBs for imaging systems, ensuring adherence to aerospace and defense standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and product engineers, to define and refine system requirements.
  • Research and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance imaging performance and efficiency.
  • Debug and troubleshoot high-speed, complex electronic systems using advanced testing tools such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system reliability and image quality.
  • Interface with external vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely, high-quality production of electronic components.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across projects.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives, driving continuous improvement in imaging system design and implementation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field (Masters degree ).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing imaging systems, video technologies, or related electronics.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer or similar software.
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as MIPI, HDMI, USB, SLVS, and Ethernet.
  • Experience with embedded systems, firmware development, and hardware-software integration.
  • Expertise in debugging and analyzing complex systems using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Proven track record of delivering imaging or video-related projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Experience

  • Background in aerospace or defense systems, particularly those adhering to military or spaceflight standards.
  • Familiarity with advanced video recording systems, image sensors, and persistent memory devices.
  • Experience with CAD tools for hardware design and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of testing protocols for thermal, vibration, and environmental conditions.
  • Prior experience working in a startup environment with agile development processes.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain US Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Compensation Details

$140,000 - $200,000
