Senior Electrical Engineer - HV Distribution

Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (HV Distribution) to work for one of our clients based in Manchester, UK.



This role will be reporting to the HV Team Leader and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of the team's output in the production and control of drawings and technical documents.



You will also work with the Power Sector Director to assist during the bid process to secure further work.

Responsibilities



Production of all designs, calculations, reports & drawings associated with new or modification of HV projects from 400V (LV) to 33kV. (single line diagrams, key line diagrams, Layout drawings, technical specifications and other design deliverables.)

Manage the production of project deliverables through a robust checking process but must also support the CAD technicians with the development of drawings and support the actual delivery of the outputs.



Requirements



Minimum HNC (with relevant work experience) in Electrical Engineering, with Power / HV background

Ideally MEng / Msc in Electrical Engineering, with Power / HV background

Working toward CEng status is seen as beneficial, however not essential
