Job Title: Senior Electrical Estimator

Location:Charleston, South Carolina

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Estimator for our Charleston, SC office. This role is responsible for preparing detailed quantity take-offs and project estimates. This role collaborates heavily with Field Operations, Purchasing, Leadership, and Project Managers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

- Relationship Building: Value the importance of relationships with customers, suppliers, vendors, and coworkers. Collaborate with others to resolve conflicts and communicate effectively.

- Information Gathering: Conduct job site walk-throughs, call vendors, and attend review meetings to gather information ensuring accuracy of quotes.

- Detail : Ensure a professional and error-free document goes to the customer by analyzing bid documents, understanding the scope of work, and reviewing vendor quotes. Adhere to deadlines.

- Process : Mitigate problems through proper use of processes, standards, and early risk assessment.

- Scorekeeping: Document and track project data, keep dashboards up-to-date, and hold yourself accountable for your work. Communicate pertinent information to others and connect strategies to outcomes and results.

Key Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience estimating construction projects over $3 million, specifically in electrical construction.

- Ability to prepare conceptual budgets based on minimal information and specifications.

- Ability to travel regionally to project sites as needed.

- Proficient in using Accubid 16, Bluebeam, and Excel.

- Ability to work with a team and collaborate.

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $130,000 dependent on experience.
