What You Will DoYou will be the primary technical account manager responsible for increasing usage of Altair solutions for electronic system design (https://altair.com/electronic-system-design), with a strong focus on high-frequency electromagnetics applications (https://altair.com/feko-applications), with customers and prospects within the Aerospace and Defense Industry in the EMEA region.Performance Areas ·Proactively increase Altair footprint in the domains of Electromagnetics and Electronics at Aerospace and Defense accounts. ·Perform technical pre-sales, customer demonstrations, benchmarks, support, consulting, and training·Analyze customer’s business and technical needs, requirements, and current workflows and match it with Altair Software portfolio. ·Work with the Sales and Technical Account teams to identify, plan and execute strategic activities to supporting growth.·Proactively network and develop customer relationships.·Be viewed by the customer as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all domain specific activities.·Lead and coordinate account technical activities with other subject matter experts and development teams, ensuring customer needs.Minimum Qualifications:·Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related subject·5 years of industry experience with antenna design / placement, RCS, radio / radar coverage, EMC/EMI or similar applications·A thorough understanding of electromagnetic concepts, ideally in Aerospace and Defense·Excellent presentation and communication skills·Aptitude for solving engineering problems.·Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites across Europe. ·Willingness to work on military assignments ·Citizenship of an EU Country or UK·Fluent communication skills in English and one additional language among German, French, Italian depending on where the candidate is locatedPreferred Experience and Requirements:·Aerospace and Defense industry experience and passion are a strong plus·Experience with simulation tools like Feko, CST, HFSS or XFDTDSoft Skills ·Professional image and strong business acumen. ·Strong networker, proactively outgoing.·Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. ·Able to build durable relationships with Customer·Logical problem-solving skills, ability to demonstrate solutions coherently. ·Self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
