Senior EMC Engineering Lead (Hiring Immediately)

Job title: EMC Engineering Manager Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Brough, Frimley, Filton, Portsmouth, Weymouth or Manchester. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Competitive What you’ll be doing: Leading a team of 10+ EMC Engineers with the purpose of delivering EMC compliance for multiple projects Facilitate the provision of consultation and guidance to hardware development teams to ensure compliance with EMC requirements through the product development process and the entire product lifecycle through assessment andor testing Leading feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs Overseeing and approving reports and other required documentation Leading the management of EMC issues Management of an in-house EMC testing laboratory and ensuring that equipment is operational and properly calibrated Oversee the Management of EMC testing on products in accordance with the current standards and regulations Managing EMC testing in accordance with product development and customer delivery schedules Maintaining an enduring EMC capability Your skills and experiences: Essential: BEng (Hons) MEng or equivalent qualification Experience working in a LeadershipManagement role Good communication skills and stakeholder management Project management experience Knowledge of EMC Defence Standards would be an advantage Desirable: Professional registration at Chartered level or evidence of working towards this Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave incentive and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The EMC Engineering team: As an Engineering Manager within the Electromagnetic-Compatibility (EMC) Engineering Team, you will be managing and developing a team of EMC Test and Design Engineer’s who will be developing a range of different measurements and data acquisition systems to support the build programme whilst identifying new measurement technologies for development into the build environment.
