Overview:

Are you an experienced Senior Engineer in the Longford area? Would you like to work on an exciting project close to home?

One of Ireland’s leading main contractors are seeking a Senior Engineer for an upcoming project in Co. Longford. This project involves the extension of a healthcare facility, specifically the construction of a one-storey building, alongside various infrastructure enhancements such as retaining walls, service installations, and necessary demolition work. The project is expected to run for approximately 2 years, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term employment in the Longford area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering aspects of the project, ensuring successful delivery within the agreed timeframe and budget.
  • \n

  • Mentor and support Junior Engineers, providing guidance on technical and operational issues.
  • \n

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to facilitate project planning and execution.
  • \n

  • Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • \n

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • \n


Requirements:
 

    \n
  • Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • \n

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with an Irish Main Contractor/Developer
  • \n

  • Experience working on large-scale building projects
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and safety standards.
  • \n


The Package:

An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate, with a basic salary of approx. €75,000 - €80,000 + vehicle + fuel.
