Job Description

Sphere Solutions are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a prestigious £120 million commercial build project at Exeter University. This long-term opportunity is with a Tier 1 contractor and will primarily focus on quality assurance, as-builts, and surveying checks on subcontractors’ work.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Conduct detailed as-built surveys and ensure work meets design specifications.\n\n * \n\n Perform regular quality assurance checks across the site.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with subcontractors, offering guidance and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.\n\n * \n\n Carry out site surveys and report findings to the management team.\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate site records and documentation.\n\n * \n\n Support the project team with engineering expertise and technical problem-solving.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on large RC frame and commercial build projects.\n\n * \n\n Strong background in quality assurance and surveying.\n\n * \n\n CSCS Card – essential.\n\n * \n\n Own surveying kit and laptop is but not essential.\n\n * \n\n Excellent understanding of construction methods, standards, and regulations.\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and problem-solving skills.\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\n\n * \n\n Long-term 3-year contract with a leading Tier 1 contractor.\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work on a high-profile commercial project.\n\n * \n\n Competitive rates based on experience and equipment availability.\n\n * \n\n Join a collaborative and dynamic project team
