Job Summary:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Support Analyst, Engineer Senior to join our team. This role requires expertise in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, managing production support data, and generating reports using industry-standard databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical engineering and extensive experience in production control systems and data analysis. This position is in support of Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Support Equipment (SE) systems, subsystems, and component testing at the Naval Air Warfare Center Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) Prototype, Manufacturing and Test Department (PMTD), aboard ship, and other naval activities.

Responsibilities:

• Apply engineering principles to improve industrial layouts and manufacturing production processes.
• Perform time and motion studies to establish standard production rates and enhance efficiency.
• Manage and analyze production support data to evaluate and optimize processes and applications.
• Utilize computer-based production control systems to oversee manufacturing operations.
• Generate detailed reports from standard databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL, MS Access, MS Excel).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in production practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college; Bachelor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical engineering is required.
• 10+ years of experience in managing production support data, performing data analysis, and evaluating processes.
• Experience working with a computer-based production control system.
• 2+ years of experience generating reports from databases such as Oracle, SQL, MS Access, or MS Excel.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience conducting efficiency studies in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
