Senior Engineer Product Engineering

In your new role you will:Work closely with the engineering design team to solve yield and quality problems, pre and post-productionInterface with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues requiring in depth product knowledgeFocal point for front and back-end process issues, lot dispositions, and low yield investigationDrive design for test and manufacturability, and quality improvement through PPM reductionDrive corner lot planning including characterization and qualification testingDrive wafer acceptance test (WAT) to final test specification alignmentMonitor new product design reliability testing, perform interval shift analysisSome overseas travel may be required for training, product transfers and release.You are best equipped for this task if you have:BSEE, with more than six years experience dealing with yield and product engineering related to Power ICs and Power devicesIn depth knowledge of power electronic products and processesFundamental understanding of product design implementationKnowledge of silicon device fabrication process, including finalelectrical testing and their impact on power device performanceUnderstanding of semiconductor material properties and their influenceon semiconductor device behaviorAbility to understand applications conditions, and how that may conflictwith product performance parametersExperience with Mentor/Galaxy Examinator and JMP data analysis tools is strongly desiredExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to demonstrate great attention to detailProven self-starterBenefitsWide range of training offers & planning of career developmentInternational assignmentsDifferent career paths: Project Management, Technical Ladder, Management & Individual ContributorExempt working hours are flexible within core hours (9am-12pm & 2pm- Home office options for certain tasks or due to personal circumstances.
