Role Definition
Role and Main Responsibilities
A Subsea System Integration Senior Engineer is required to support Company’s worldwide offshore deepwater projects. They will be part of the engineering group based in Basingstoke (UK) and will support all the engineering activities related to subsea architecture development, interfaces definition, ensuring overall technical integrity, fluid deliverability and operability of the subsea system.
They will support the Company team in the different phases of the project, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for the several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives. They will collaborate with colleagues in the Subsea Systems department, as well as other disciplines.
Responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:

Study and optimisation of development concept for subsea, deepwater and ultra-deepwater projects with particular focus on production fluid deliverability and system operation.

Define subsea development scheme at system and component level.

Review and approve the design performed by a third-party contractor (including specifications, reports, calculation notes, analyses, drawings, datasheets and technical notes) of a deepwater system (such as subsea production systems, riser flowline and umbilical system), ensuring that project objectives, industry standards and best practices for safety, reliability and cost are met.

Monitor the third-party contractor performance.

Assist company in R&D initiative, with particular focus on architecture optimisation for subsea field development and implementation of new technologies.

Preparation of documentation to support tender phase SPS, umbilical and R&F work packages.

Assist company in definition and management of interfaces between different subsea working packages.

Involvement in subsea project design review.

Ensure consistency, quality and cost-effectiveness of the project design, in compliance with international standards, project specifications and company guidelines.

Ensure the performance, installability and operability of the subsea systems

Select the best technical/economical solutions for the subsea system architecture, ensuring overall technical integrity.

Understand client needs, identify and address problems; propose, develop and implement solutions.
Qualification
Qualifications, professional experience and skills required for the position

Engineering degree.

Demonstrable experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in subsea system and network engineering.

Proficient usage of Office Software (MS Office).

Basic knowledge of AutoCad.

Extensive experience as a Subsea System Integration Engineer throughout the various phases of project development (from concept to execution) and handover operations.
Conditions
Office based in Basingstoke (UK).
Depending on candidate experience, hybrid working can be considered, with up to 60% of time worked remotely.
Long-term assignment on a 12-months renewable basis
