Together, we’re the next BIG thing in data.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs technical support activities related to test with engineering approaches toEffectively respond teach work request in term of productivity improvement, quality and costReleases, adds and changes process instructionEstablishes appropriate performance reportDevelop and support systematice tools to help day-to-day operations work.Supervises technicians in responsibility to accomplish job in most effective way.Performs related work as assigned.Co-ordinates with other sections including oversea organization concerning technical issues related to the product.Authority In order for the incumbent to deliver the expected outcome, the incumbent is authorized to perform the following:Make own decision under responsibility.Propose purchasing requisition.Propose for any improvement.QualificationsREQUIRED:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering or related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in HDD Manufacturing or electronics industry is preferredA minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a software analyst or related function.PREFERRED:Knowledge of HDD process and technology, HDD test processGood knowledge of Automation systemKnowledge in Robotic systems will be an advantageA highly analytical mindset and ability to understand business needs.Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.Hands-on experience with technical projects is a must.Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting recommended.SKILLS:People Management & Development SkillsStrategic Planning Skill.Problem Solving & Decision-making skillGood knowledge in Python, Java, or C++Good knowledge in data analytics - ETL, Data structure, and ML are preferredGood command in EnglishGood coaching skills, project management skill, decision making skill, adaptabilityAdditional InformationWestern Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
