About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environment Engineer to join a dynamic project team in the oil and gas sector. This role will be instrumental in managing environmental compliance, HSE risk assessments, and regulatory interfaces for large-scale offshore and onshore projects. Key Responsibilities

• Lead environmental and HSE strategies for complex oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Manage environmental impact assessments (EIA, ENVID) and support HSE risk analysis, incident investigations, and root cause assessments.
• Oversee the development and implementation of HSE and environmental specifications, including Waste Management Plans, Oil Spill Prevention, and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP).
• Act as the primary interface with regulatory authorities and third-party stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination on all environmental and HSE matters.
• Conduct environmental audits, compliance reviews, and risk register assessments to drive continuous improvement.
• Support offshore and fabrication yard HSE management, ensuring the highest safety and environmental standards.

What We’re Looking For

• B.Sc. in Engineering (Environmental, HSE, or related field); a higher degree in Environmental Engineering or Project Management is a plus.
• IRCA-certified Lead Auditor in ISO 14001:2015 (mandatory); ISO 45001:2018 certification is an advantage.
• Professional certification and membership in a recognized engineering or HSE association.
• At least 15 years of experience in environmental engineering within the oil & gas industry, including offshore environments.
• 10+ years of experience in health and safety management for oil and gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of international HSE and environmental regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
• Expertise in incident management, auditing, and environmental risk assessments for oil & gas operations, including decommissioning activities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and relevant HSE software.
