Senior/Environmental & Sustainability Advisor – Multiple Locations  



Locations available: Dartford, London, Basingstoke



Salary: £36,000 - £50,000

We are seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to join a growing team as Environmental & Sustainability Advisors in Dartford, London, and Basingstoke at a variety of levels starting from graduate+1 to Senior/Lead level.



About the Role As an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering environmental excellence across a variety of projects, ensuring compliance, and driving sustainable innovation. 



Working across the design, construction, and reinstatement phases, you will be responsible for advising teams, monitoring environmental performance, and engaging with regulatory bodies to uphold best practices.



Key Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental assessments and develop management plans in line with environmental regulations.



Ensure all work complies with legal and environmental requirements.



Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental data.



Perform audits and inspections to ISO 14001 standards, identifying areas for improvement.



Provide expert advice on environmental risks, compliance, and best practices.



Assist with incident management and ensure corrective actions are implemented.



Engage with regulators and support permit applications where necessary.



What We’re Looking For:

Strong knowledge of environmental legislation related to civil engineering and utilities.



Experience as an advisor within the construction sector, ideally utilities.



Ability to write comprehensive reports, interpret data, and develop action plans.



Experience working with environmental permits and regulatory compliance.



A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for sustainability.



Full UK Driving Licence (travel to various sites required).
