What You’ll Do:

Environmental Permitting & Compliance:

  • Prepare, submit, and manage air permits in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct permit renewals, modifications, and reporting in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement environmental compliance programs, policies, and procedures.

 

Regulatory Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies including Title V air permits.
  • Conduct emissions calculations, impact assessments, and pollution control evaluations.
  • Stay updated on environmental regulations and ensure facility compliance with evolving standards.
  • Preparation of public comment packets.

 

Stakeholder & Agency Coordination:

  • Liaise with environmental agencies, consultants, and industry groups to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Work closely with site management to implement environmental best practices and sustainability initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Industrial Hygiene sampling.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
  • Experience in petrochemical or refining manufacturing.
  • Direct experience working with regulatory agencies.

 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (other technical degrees may be considered).
  • 2+ years of air permitting experience.
  • Emission calculation experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.

 

This position requires legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
