Why Apply with Sonas?Experts in Semiconductor, Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing recruitment.Provide you with full preparation and details on the role you are applying for.One point of contact – throughout your interview process.Immediate interviews for suitably qualified candidates.Responsibilities Lead and manage multidisciplinary environmental inputs for environmental impact assessment projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Provide expert advice on environmental planning matters,Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and architects, to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.Prepare and review environmental reports, including Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs), Environmental Impact Assessment Screening Reports, Construction Environmental Management Plans, Resource Waste Management Plans and the technical review of specialist reports.Liaise with regulatory authorities and agencies as necessary for project development.Represent the company at client meetings, public consultations, and regulatory hearings,Mentor and support junior staff members, providing guidance on environmental regulations and best practices.Requirements:A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or related disciplineMinimum of 8+ years relevant experience preferred.Strong expertise in environmental impact assessments and planningStrong knowledge of relevant Irish and European planning and environmental legislation, guidelines and regulatory frameworksProven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesExcellent report writing and verbal communication skills.Be self-motivated and result driven.Deliver projects in an efficient and timely manner.A full clean drivers’ licence.Experience mentoring and supervising junior staff members is desirableProfessional certifications or memberships in relevant professional bodies (e.g., IEMA, CIWEM) are advantageous.Benefits:Annual leave 22 days, increment of one extra day per every 5 years worked up to a maximum of 25 days.Annual Salary Review in June.Annual Bonus Scheme.Employee Death in Service & Disability Insurance Scheme.Paid Sick Leave.Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave.Hybrid Working.Paid Professional Membership Fees.CPD programme.Sports & Social Club.ST-IND-23 Tags:
