Senior Estimation Engineer – Electrical

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimation Engineer – Electrical at Al Ryum Group of Companies in Abu Dhabi. The Senior Estimation Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as preparing BOQs, conducting project estimations, collaborating with Civil Engineers, negotiating contracts, and conducting research to support project planning and implementation. Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for electrical systems and components, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems. Project Analysis: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to assess the scope of work and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Bid Preparation: Create detailed bid proposals and pricing documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and procurement teams to gather data and insights for accurate estimation. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, material prices, and labor rates to inform cost estimates. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with projects and incorporate them into the estimation process. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all estimates, proposals, and related project documentation. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior estimation engineers, fostering their professional growth. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of estimation methodologies and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications BOQ preparation, Project Estimation, and Research skills Electrical Engineering knowledge and experience Negotiation skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Relevant certifications or training in estimation and project management
