The Senior Facilities Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of the facility, equipment for building, clean room, office and the management of services and processes that support the core business of an organization. The Senior Facilities Engineer will ensure effective functioning of a facility to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services and processes to meet the needs of the organization. This position will coordinate outside contractors or vendors for various services. Your Responsibilities Ensure daily maintenance and facilities issues are rectified and solved to ensure proper running of building services and facilities. Support the development of a facility management program including predictive maintenance programs to maintain all facilities and building systems reliability. To lead the drafting of preventive maintenance and operational Standard Operational Plans (SOP’s) and Emergency Operational Plans (EOP’s). Provide training and guidance to facilities technicians to achieve department goals for facilities and building systems reliability Monitor and maintain facilities systems and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirement on occupational safety, health and environmental and industry regulations in the facility. Support and oversee project management for the manufacturing facility refurbishment, renovations and maintenance records. Oversee BMS and RMS (Room monitoring System) and rectify any faults and deviation. Work closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications. Assist in achieving cost and quality objectives, including energy efficiency optimization at the facility Identify and propose utility reduction initiatives. Monitor inventory of required spare parts including safety tools. Involved in Quality and EHS audits. Knowledge on validation procedure will be a plus Perform other ad hoc maintenance duties as assigned by the Senior Facilities Manager. Your Profile Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent studies At least 10 years of work experience related to project management, vendor management building facilities and/or maintenance of manufacturing facility and clean room. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives Current up to date knowledge of all statutory requirements we shall be required to comply with As this is an Electrical Services biased position – in-depth experience and knowledge of HV (HT) and LV (LT) systems and operation there-of is essential Training in safety relating to the HV (HT) system is preferred Mechanical system knowledge including HVAC, Compressed Air, process gases and purified water system experience would be an advantage Knowledge of ISO 13485, SAP and facility related regulatory requirements A team player, able to work hands-on with good interpersonal skills Proactive ‘can do’ approach and able to work under pressure when circumstances require Familiar with FMCS and RMS systems Preferably with FSM or WHSO certification What we offer being encouraged to think and act entrepreneurially. working in global teams and projects. developing yourself professionally.
