SENIOR FIELD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

The Senior Field Electrical Engineer willlead electrical engineering activities for a major onshore oil andgas project in Abu Dhabi. This role involves overseeing theinstallation testing and commissioning of electrical systems andensuring alignment with project specifications and industrystandards. Extensive experience in field engineering roles on ADNOConshore or other major oil and gas projects in the Middle East isessential.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and manage field electrical engineering tasksincluding installation configuration and commissioning ofelectrical systems and equipment.
• Ensurecompliance with project specifications ADNOC standards and industryregulations in all field electrical activities.
• Provide technical guidance and quality control forcontractors and subcontractors ensuring all work aligns with safetyquality and regulatory requirements.
• Conducttroubleshooting testing and inspections of electrical systemsincluding power distribution transformers switchgear MCCs UPSsystems and other electrical components.
• Review and approve engineering drawings singlelinediagrams and technical documentation to confirm accuracy andadherence to project requirements.
• Coordinatewith multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth integration ofelectrical systems within the overall project scope.
• Conduct site surveys inspections and safety audits toensure HSE compliance and assess progress of electricalinstallations.
• Interface with clientrepresentatives and project stakeholders providing technicalsupport and ensuring project objectives are met withinschedule.
• Document field activities includingtest results inspection reports and project progress and preparedaily and weekly reports.
• Assist with projectplanning scheduling and resource allocation for electricalactivities to ensure timely and efficient projectcompletion.

KEYQUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a relatedfield.
• 1015 years of field electricalengineering experience with at least 5 years on ADNOC Onshoreprojects or other major oil and gas projects in the MiddleEast.
• Indepth knowledge of electrical systemsin the oil and gas industry including power distribution switchgeartransformers MCCs and grounding systems.
• Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills withexperience in testing commissioning and quality control ofelectrical installations.
• Proficiency inreading and interpreting electrical drawings schematics andsingleline diagrams.
• Knowledge of industrystandards (IEC IEEE) and ADNOC regulations related to electricalsystems in oil and gas projects.
• Effectivecommunication skills with experience coordinating with clientrepresentatives and crossfunctional teams.
• Relevant certifications in electrical engineering orproject management are an advantage.
