Senior Financial Analyst (Cash & Investment)

Overview:

Cash Management and Investment Division is responsible of administering the short-term liquidity outlook of the company and manages the daily investments of the company’s excess cash.

The candidate will work on enhancing the existing cash forecasting process and optimizing investment performance across different money market instruments. This will require extensive interaction with internal and external parties as well as development of regular market analysis that address both global and local macro-economic outlook.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and drive continuous improvement of processes to preserve capital, assure liquidity and optimize return.

• Forecast monthly cash receipts and disbursements and identify daily excess cash for investment.

• Execute daily investment proposal and identify the optimal investment tenor based on the company’s liquidity outlook and market environment.

• Optimize investment performance across different money market and fixed income investment instruments.

• Manage, monitor and report divisional performance against the Cash Forecasting Accuracy and Short-Term Investment Return key performance indicators.

• Develop on regular basis market analysis report on both global and local macro-economic outlook.

• Enhance Cash forecasting process and accuracy level by working with internal and external counterpart.

• Assist in the setup, configuration and implementation of money market investment instrument in the the company system.

• Review and propose changes, if required, to the company Short-Term Investments Guidelines.

• Present to Treasury Management the liquidity outlook of the company and investments proposals.

  • Short-term : In the event you are unable to work due to illness or injury, short-term income benefits are provided. The benefit is 30 days full pay and 60 days at three-quarters pay, in any one year period.

  • Death Benefit: The company pays an ex-gratia death benefit equal to 24 months base pay if death is from an industrial accident and 12 months base pay if death is non-industrial related.
