Senior Geophysicist- Kuwait

Role Summary:-

-Directly involve in optimizing target selection, shallow gas risk analysis, review sidetrack feasibilities and support DSP & well release process.
Provide support in PDDP submission Well trajectory review and finalization, shallow drilling risk assessment and mitigation, depth prognosis, horizontal/multilateral/ERD well placement.
- Track drilling progress and adherence to plan, geo-steering support of horizontal wells and provide sidetrack well planning solutions for stuck wells.
- Updating structure maps, providing surface/faults, attributes to Reservoir Teams (Wara, Burgan, Mauddud, Minagish & Marrat) for target selection and preparation of updated ISD maps.
- Mapping unconventional reservoirs, attribute studies and sweet spot identification for unlocked potential reservoirs (Tayarat, Zubair, Najmah).
- Provide surface/faults, estimated property volumes in depth for building full field Geomodel for Wara/Burgan.
- Data management for 200 plus wells in OW database including X,Y, KB, Deviation Survey, Tops and logs on a day to day basis.
Build "in-house" capability on the above with hands-on training & knowledge transfer to the young Kuwaiti staff.
