We currently have an exciting, dynamic and diverse workload across Australia, New Zealand and California and are interested in hearing from likeminded folk who want to make a difference and be part of our journey.We’re very excited about expanding our operation in Brisbane, so we are looking for the right people to join us and make a positive impact on our business and local community. About this role:This position will require strong technical leadership on a wide range of geotechnical project types such as earthworks, foundation and retaining wall design, 2D and 3D settlement analysis, assessment of soft and compressible soils, deep excavations and temporary works. The role will include a significant relationship development component including fostering our existing relationships, expansion of our client base and exploring new market opportunities. You will be also expected to provide support and mentoring to junior staff.This is an exciting position which offers a unique opportunity for you to fully utilise and expand your skills within a supportive team and culture. Understands the importance of nurturing client relationships. Has strong experience in managing projects to time and budget. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Encourages innovative and pragmatic thinking and ways to deliver excellent outcomes.Your professional experience must include: BE (Civil), ME, or MEngSc. Chartered member of Engineers Australia (CPEng) and current professional registration with the Board of Professional Engineers in Queensland (RPEQ). At least 10 years of geotechnical consulting experience (ideally most in Brisbane and Queensland). Experience in design and management of complex ground investigations. Experience in geotechnical design including earthworks, deep foundations, basement excavations, settlement assessments, retaining systems and temporary works. Experience in data analysis and computer aided modelling (both 2D and 3D) using a range of geotechnical software. Excellent interpretative report writing skills. Extensive knowledge of current guidelines, technical standards, legislation and codes of practice relevant to Geotechnical Engineering in Queensland and Australia.
