Job Description
Support the policies, goals, and programmes of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. Ensure Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) issues are given primary consideration in all activities undertaken within area of responsibility. Promote a culture of Risk Management throughout Onshore Asset and Project Sunrise organization.
Support the Project HSE Management Team in all HSE matters related to Sunrise Project.
Supervise, and coach Contractor HSE team on all HSE matters related to Sunrise Project.
Develop and maintain the integrated Safe System of Work (ISSOW) across all Project Sunrise locations.
Develop bridging HSE Management System and main Sunrise Project Contractors.
Lead incident investigations, particularly on high potential incidents, ensuring that the root causes of an incident are identified and addressed. Assure that appropriate corrective actions are completed on a timely basis.
Develop and deliver HSE training as required (e.g. Permit to Work (PTW), Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, and Inductions) and liaise with Training and Development for external training courses.
Maintain adequate emergency response capability; coordinate drills, training, Emergency Response Plans (ERP) updates, and First Aid provisions.
Organise HSE reporting for all Sunrise project location and ensure compliance with HSE reporting procedures.
Review and analyse Contractor HSE Performance and ensure Contractors work in accordance to HSE standards.
Organise regular meetings and review with Engineering department to ensure compliance with HSE Management System.
Provide expert Occupational Safety and Environmental Technical solutions to Project Sunrise Team and Engineering department.
Champion, develop, implement and co-ordinate HSE programmes and standards.
Organise and facilitate HSE meetings for Project Sunrise Teams.
Organise, conduct and report all requested safety reviews, audits and inspection on Project Sunrise Location. Participate in or lead HSE audits as requested. 16. Ensure implementation of, and lead if required, task risk assessment process within Project Sunrise, and participate in Hazard Identification (HAZID), Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Job Related Competencies
Educational Qualifications:
▪ Engineering diploma or equivalent.
▪ Industry recognised training qualification.
▪ Member of HSE related professional body.
▪ Recognised HSE qualification (NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma).
Experience Profile:
▪ 10+ years operational experience preferably in onshore oil and gas production operations.
▪ International experience in a highly regulated environment is desirable.
▪ Experience in a senior HSE role, preferably with international content.
