Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Duties:Administer and maintain Tableau server clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.Administer and maintain on-premises Power BI server clusters, implementing best practices for security and scalability.Manage Linux and Windows operating systems, applying patches, updates, and configurations to maintain a secure and stable environment.Write shell scripts for automation of routine tasks and monitoring of system health and performance.Monitor and optimize the performance of Tableau and Power BI servers, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues.Query and manage SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.Technical Requirements:5+ years in an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.Proficient in administering Tableau and Power BI server clusters.Expertise in managing Linux and Windows environments.Strong shell scripting skills for automation tasks.Performance Monitoring: Ability to monitor and optimize BI server performance.Database Management: Proficient in SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL querying and management.Non-Technical Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
