Our client, a Fortune 500 US-based company is now seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their Technical team in Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.Responsibilities:This fully seasoned infrastructure professional acts as a mentor and second level resource to other members of the infrastructure team which is responsible for design, implementation, maintenance and support of the technical infrastructure (networks, servers, telephony, and personal computing) in the Asia Pacific RegionThis person also acts a liaison between the IT department and the various business units that comprise the 24x7x365 production environment to conduct needs analysis and to communicate project progress and resolution The individual may have a specific area of technical expertise in Networking, Server Administration (Unix, Windows, Macintosh), Voice Systems, Technical Security, and\or Client Systems Management but they must also demonstrate a propensity to learn and attain a basic mastery of the skills required to be an integrated member of the team that is responsible for all the areas mentioned above.Demonstrated skill and experience providing technical support and project management in a networked computing environment is required. The successful candidate must be capable of being the lead person in establishing conference bridges in “on call” and emergency scenariosExperience Requirements:Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure/server/network support/CSM/VoiceDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline or commensurate work experienceCertification for MCSE, RHCE, CCNP, ACE, ITIL or CISSPExcellent written and spoken English, as well as CantoneseGood interpersonal communication and presentation skills
