Senior Integrity Engineer

Wood is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Integrity Engineer to join a growing consulting team based in the Kuala Lumpur office (with a blend of remote work) who work closely to offer solutions to our local and global business partners. We are seeking individuals who get a kick out of working in partnership with clients and upon joining the team you will be an active member of a collaborative, dynamic and technically skilled group working on world class upstream and downstream oil and gas facilities. It takes a range of individuals to make up a diverse and flexible technical team. In this role we are seeking applicants not only with strong technical skills but also the ability to work innovatively and autonomously when required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering discipline (Materials / Mechanical / Process / Chemical), alternatively, tertiary level education combined with suitable industry experience can be used to demonstrate equivalence Requires professional knowledge and progressive experience in Integrity Engineering, and related concepts including, but not limited to Risk Based Inspection, NDT Technology, Integrity Operating Windows etc. Typically requires 5 + years progressively more responsible pertinent experience; developing his/her area, and knowledgeable about impacts on other areas Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates Working level of ability in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution Working level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards Technically competent in own discipline, pursues continuous professional development of skills and knowledge according to standards. Seeks knowledge of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promotes to direct reports Developing skills in persuasion, negotiation, motivation and communication Developing proficiency in project planning Possess a working knowledge of the various Business Units, Functions, Sectors and services offered within business area, and general understanding of other Wood business offerings.
