Senior IT Asset Management Engineer

Efficiently install and configure IT systems at client locations, ensuring optimal performance. Provide excellent customer service by resolving technical issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Accurately manage asset tagging, verification, and inventory, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient system operation. Perform timely maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for IT hardware, software, and networks. Collaborate with other IT team members, departments, and external vendors to ensure seamless IT support and integration. Provide training and support to clients, enhancing their proficiency with IT systems. Comply with company policies, procedures, and industry standards, ensuring a secure and compliant IT environment. Identify and mitigate potential IT risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive resolution. Manage IT projects, from planning to post-implementation review, and contribute to continuous improvement in IT processes. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all IT assets, projects, and support activities. Work is performed on-site at various client locations, including offices, data centers, and industrial environments. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations is required. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Make on-site decisions regarding technical solutions within established guidelines, escalating complex issues to the IT Asset SR Manager when necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed and report on asset performance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5 – 7 years of experience in IT support, field engineering, or a similar role. Experience in asset tagging, verification, and IT asset management. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems. Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols. Experience with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux. Familiarity with IT asset management tools and software. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are preferred. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
