Job Description
We are seeking for our client a Senior Project Manager with proven expertise in large-scale application development, project management, vendor management, and systems implementation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and an executive presence, managing both the strategic and tactical demands of delivering high-impact IT solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure projects are aligned with organizational objectives and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Own the performance and outcomes of a large project or functional area within a broader program. Establish and manage schedules, priorities, budgets, and deliverables.
- Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, including defining baselines, tracking milestones, identifying risk factors, and implementing contingency plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), customers, and partners to resolve project issues, communicate progress, and ensure expectations are met.
- Resource Management: Assign tasks, manage resource allocation, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks; manage and resolve project issues to keep implementations on track.
- Performance Measurement: Evaluate project performance against initial scope, timeline, and budget to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant corporate and divisional policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentorship & Guidance: Provide consultation on project phases, deliverables, and best practices; mentor junior team members in project management methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 10-12 years of experience in project management, software development, or deployment within large, complex organizations.
- Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, prioritize competing demands, and make quick decisions.
- Process Optimization: Track record of designing and refining business processes to increase efficiency and value delivery.
- Strategic Insight: Skilled at assessing user needs, market conditions, and technical capabilities to develop actionable, high-impact solutions.
- Technical/Business Acumen: Ability to identify business opportunities, formulate key questions, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in Planning, ERP, Supply Chain, or Order Management systems.
- Supply Chain Proficiency: Deep understanding of Supply Chain business processes and related technologies.
- Vendor Management: Proven success delivering projects through external suppliers or vendors.
- Certifications: PMP or other recognized project management certifications.
