The Role
\n
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Landscape Architect to join our expanding team in Dorking. We are seeking a talented individual to help support the continued growth of the practice, working on a wide variety of projects involving masterplanning, green infrastructure design and implementation, landscape and visual impact assessment and public realm design across the UK.
\n
You will be part of a forward-thinking team of Landscape Architects, working closely with our wider multidisciplinary team of Architects, Urban Designers Ecologists, Arboriculturists and Graphic Designers. Our collaborative and joined-up approach consistently delivers design and environmental excellence for clients across many sectors.
\n
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate the following capabilities and experience:
\n
- A relevant postgraduate qualification, with approximately 5 years professional experience.\n
- Be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or on the Pathway to Chartership.\n
- Experience in LVIA.\n
- Experience of concept design and detailed landscape design. \n
- Experience of masterplanning would be advantageous.\n
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.\n
- Highly skilled in a range of 2D and 3D CAD software, and a willingness to learn. Vectorworks, LSS, Lumion and GIS experience would be desirable. \n
- Demonstrate the ability to think creatively to innovate and problem-solve collaboratively.\n
- A strong communicator with excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills.\n
- Ability to supervise more junior staff.\n
- Ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects and tasks effectively.\n
- UK driving licence with access to (or willingness to obtain) a private car for site visits.
